According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE highlights the technical nature of the decision and opposes assertions that push for politicisation as a member of the group and a partner of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry emphasised the necessity of a positive conversation that advances the objectives of all nations.
In order to advance producers’ and consumers’ interests and promote global economic growth and development, the Ministry reaffirmed the United Arab Emirates’ full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its efforts to support energy stability and security.
Regarding the OPEC+ decision, the UAE concurs with the Saudi Foreign Ministry’s statement.
