The UAE and Romania expect the memoranda of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of food security and climate change

The Memorandum of Understanding between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Romania aims to strengthen collaboration in the areas of food security and climate change.

This was accomplished during Maryam Al-official Muhairi’s visit to Romania, where she met with Nikolai Chioca, the country’s prime minister, in addition to Surin Grendiano, the deputy prime minister and minister of transport and infrastructure, Bogdan Oricco, the minister of foreign affairs, Virgil Daniel Bubacco, the minister of energy, Petri Dayya, the minister of agriculture and rural development, and Barna Tankos, the minister of the environment.

The two parties discussed methods to improve bilateral ties in a number of areas during the meeting in order to further the shared goals of the two friendly cities and the welfare of their respective populations.

Al-Muhairi emphasised the value of the relationships between Romania and the United Arab Emirates in all spheres, praising the strength of the ties of friendship, cooperation, and distinguished historical relations that bind the two nations and are demonstrated by the steady expansion of their mutual assistance in recent years in a number of areas of shared interest.

For his part, Chioca highlighted his pride in the close ties between the UAE and Romania and emphasised the desire of his nation to deepen productive cooperation with the Emirates.
This visit is a part of the UAE’s efforts to advance bilateral ties and broaden collaboration between the two friendly nations by building on the results of the joint committee between the UAE and Rome’s second session.

Al-Muhairi paid field visits to several Roman businesses in addition to the “Dubai Ports World” projects in the port of Costanza, Romania.

The Memorandum of Understanding is expected to strengthen collaboration between the UAE and Romania in the areas of food security and climate change.
