Spooky display for good cause in Okanagan Falls

With only two weeks till Halloween, a house in Okanagan Falls has set up its yearly spooky display, which includes about 100 objects.
Since she was a young child, October 31 has been a significant day for Yvonne Lyver, who was inspired to make her own Halloween collection with the theme of skeletons and zombies this year. Lyver enjoys watching her neighbours’ reactions when she puts on a performance.

Children’s eyes light up with wonder when they realise what everything is, even Halloween, Lyver said.
In her neighbourhood, Lyver has won over the hearts of the locals, drawing almost daily visits. She’s utilising her celebrity to support a neighbourhood group this year.
“We’ve decided that we’ll be accepting non-perishable item donations to help with the helping hands.

If you want to stop by, please bring a donation; there will be bright pink donation boxes there, Lyver said.
Lyver claimed that more kids will be trick-or-treating this year, so she wanted to put up the spooky decorations once more.
“I think over the last couple of years with COVID-19, a lot of children haven’t had the experience of a real Halloween due to COVID measures. But now that there aren’t any, we’re hoping it will work.

“The complete display and light show will be in action on Halloween night,” she urges Okanagan Falls locals.
