Russian Foreign Ministry: Russia has not and will not threaten Kyiv with nuclear weapons

News from Al-Madinah: Constantin Forentsov, the deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s department for the deployment and identification of weapons, claimed that Moscow has not issued any nuclear-related threats against Kiev.
“As you know, the Budapest Memorandum has been adopted regarding Ukraine’s accession to the treaty not to proliferate nuclear weapons as a non -nuclear weapons country . ..

The document states that Russia has reiterated its promise to Ukraine not to use nuclear weapons or threaten to use them against nations that do not possess them. This obligation is always kept.”
He further said “Russia has not and does not threaten to use nuclear weapons on Ukraine.

“According to him, Kyiv’s statements regarding the potential for evaluating Ukraine’s non-nuclear situation constitute an effort to acquire nuclear weapons at the expense of the system of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
He emphasised: “This is outrageous and irresponsible given the recent pronouncements of Kyiv regarding the necessity of precautionary nuclear strikes by NATO members against Russia.
