The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, responded to reports that Erling Halland, a striker for Manchester City, is linked to a move to the Royal Club with a special penalty clause in his contract with the heavenly team. In recent days, some reports claimed that Halland has a special penalty clause in his contract that allows him to move to Real Madrid after three seasons.

According to Perez’s words to Radio Cadena Sir, “I have no clue about the penalty clause in the Halland contract in order to move to us, we already have the greatest players.”
This is untrue; neither Real Madrid nor any other side are subject to a penalty clause.
“Halland is very happy with us here and we will always try to make him feel happy,” the Spanish coach continued.

During the Golden Ball ceremony, Perez added his thoughts on Manchester City earning the Best Club Award, saying, “There are many talented players and a wonderful coach at Manchester City. They merit this honour.”
For the 2021–2022 season, Manchester City was named the best club in the world.
Manchester City won the Premier League title last season under the leadership of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, while he failed to reach the Champions League final..

President of Real Madrid: I am unaware of Halland’s Algerian and Sitanian conditions, which are among the best in the world.
