Just outside of Penticton along Highway 3A, 1,133 customers don’t have access to electricity, according to FortisBC.
The town of Twin Lakes and the surrounding area are both affected by the power outage.
There is presently no expected timing for when power will be restored, but crews are working to fix the problem.
According to FortisBC, the cause is yet unknown.
