Karim Benzema, a striker for Real Madrid, won the Golden Ball on Monday, making him the first Frenchman to do so in almost 25 years, notably since his compatriot Zinedine Zidane won it in 1998.

The player will be in a strong position to prolong his contract, which expires at the end of the current season, therefore “S” speculated that Benzema would receive another reward from Real Madrid in addition to the financial one.
