Kyiv without electricity after Russian strikes targeting Ukrainian facilities

Following Russian attacks on energy installations on Tuesday, various locations in Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv, lost power, according to local authorities.
The operating company for the electrical sector in Kyiv, DTek, complained of a “interruption” in the left bank inhabitants’ access to water and electricity.
She noted on Facebook that “the engineers are doing their best to restore” the electrical current.

The governor of Dnibro, a city in the centre of Ukraine, said that two Russian missiles had “energy infrastructure,” which had sparked “huge fire and destruction.”
He said on Telegram, “Many districts in Dnibro without electricity.”
According to what the city council said on Telegram, Russian bombardment in the same region led to a “timer stop for water supply” and the closing of a nearby pumping station.

The north, where “the city is devoid of electricity and water,” was similarly impacted by the biological infrastructure bombing in Ghettomer. On Facebook, the city’s mayor, Sergey Sukhomin, stated that “hospitals are working with nourishment for emergency situations.”
Governor Vitaly Ponichko also mentioned that 11 communities in his region need energy.
The bombing of “the city’s industrial firm” was proclaimed by Igor Terkeov, the mayor of Kharkiv, the second largest city in the nation.

The strikes in Miklav hit a residential building, where at least one person was killed, and a flower market nearby. In the morning, the electrical current was restored there.

After Russian attacks on Ukrainian facilities, Kyiv is without electricity.
