Information technology finishes training 10 thousand university youth in Egypt’s digital creativity centers

The ITI Institute of Information Technology’s director, Dr. Heba Saleh, stated that the summer camps were discontinued this year due to the institute’s presence in the governorates of Cairo, Assiut, Alexandria, and Ismailia as well as in Egypt’s digital creativity centres (Cretava) in the governorates of Aswan, Mansoura, Menoufia, Minya, Sohag, and Qena. For roughly 10,000 university students who benefit from different engineering and technical institutes.

Summer camps on the most recent specialisations needed in the labour market, such as information security, digital arts, data science, artificial intelligence, software, and other most sought-after specialisations in the labour market, are held annually over the past three months (July, August, and September).

In line with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s “Digital Egypt” strategy, which aims to improve digital youth skills, this is part of the Information Technology Institute’s (ITI) plan to train young Egyptian cadres with digital skills capable of competing locally and internationally.

Ten thousand university students have completed their training in information technology at Egypt’s digital creation hubs.
