The natural gas supplies in the Turkish pipeline have helped Hungary prepare for the next winter, according to Tamas Miners, a spokesman for the country’s foreign ministry, who also confirmed that Hungary’s energy and natural gas supply from Russia is quite reliable.
Menzer continued, “Thanks to the Turkish Stream pipeline, Russian gas is continuously and trouble-free flowing to Hungary, and as a result, the Hungarian gas tanks are at 50% of the yearly consumption level, which is a very high proportion compared to other European Union nations.
The Hungarian families would be able to heat their homes throughout the winter, he continued. Industrial companies will also get energy during the winter months, and the jobs will not be at risk.
He emphasised that the fact that more European Union countries were subjected to sanctions than Russia proves that the Brussels-based strategy of sanctions is unsuccessful and has only worsened the continent’s economic condition.
The sanctions on energy do not cause the Russians to lose, he continued. Instead, they triumph, while the sanctions in Europe brought about a power crisis, an economic crisis, and a significant expansion.
