Grusi: An agreement on a safe area on the atomic station of Zapuroje this year is possible

Raphael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, expressed optimism that a deal could be reached on the creation of a safe area on the nuclear Zaburoje station before the year’s end.
“I think this is possible. We have had a good dialogue with President Putin and President Zellinski. It is important that there be an agreement on the basic principles of the protection of the Zaburoje station,” Grossi told reporters on Monday.

This is doable, but it needs to keep working, he continued.
Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, was eager to meet with Grussia once more as soon as possible.

Notably, Grussia met with the Russian President on October 11 to discuss matters pertaining to the operation of the Zaburoje station, which was visited by a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency in September. Following the visit, Grussia issued a report in which he called for the cessation of combat operations in the area of the station and issued a warning against damaging its equipment and facilities.
