According to the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the teams of Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Switzerland, Ghana, Uruguay, and Cameroon are preparing for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar by holding training camps and friendly matches in Abu Dhabi.

The Saudi team arrived in Abu Dhabi on Monday evening via Al-Bateen Airport, where its training camp will be held at the Emirates Palace Hotel, and during that period, Macedonia will meet on October 22, Albania and Honduras on October 26 and 30 of the same month, Iceland will meet on November 6, and then he faces Panama on the tenth of next month, before concluding its World Cup preparations by facing the Croatia team on November 16 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

While the Argentine national team is camping in Abu Dhabi from November 13 to November 13, and is taking place open on November 13 in Al Nahyan Stadium in Al -Wahda Club, the UAE team will meet at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Al -Jazira Club on November 16th, and the Tango team leaves on the same day to The Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for the World Cup third group competitions, which include Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico.

The Uruguayan team is camping in Abu Dhabi from November 9 through November 19 in order to prepare for the eighth and final competitions, which also include Ghana, Portugal, and South Korea. As for the Cameroonian national team, Faisal will travel to the capital Abu Dhabi on November 10 before departing for D.C. on November 17. The Ghanaian and Swiss teams will formally meet on November 17 in Abu Dhabi in preparation for the World Cup competitions within the eighth and seventh groups consecutively.

It is important to note that the 22nd World Cup championship, which begins in Qatar on November 20 and lasts until December 18, 2022, is the first to be held in an Arab nation and the second to be held in Asia after the 2002 edition in South Korea and Japan.
