Thankfully, no one was hurt when a train struck an empty bus at a level crossing in the Netherlands, splitting it in two.
The bus was not carrying any passengers, and the driver was safe when the accident in Bergen op Zoom occurred.
According to Ronald Groffen, who recorded the incident, the bus driver had made an effort to warn the train.
He claimed, “The driver came out and attempted to warn the train. He is a hero.
There has been no mention of what caused the bus to become caught on the tracks.
Although there were no injuries, the incident was traumatising for both the train and bus drivers, according to railroad infrastructure company Prorail
