According to Qatari officials, more than 1.5 million requests have been made for the mandatory “Haya” card needed to enter the nation and watch the FIFA World Cup matches that begin on November 20.
And 35 days before the start of the World Cup, the director of the Haya Card Services Center in Doha, Saad Al -Suwaidi, said that between 1. 5 and 1. 7 million people submitted requests to obtain the card through the platform designated for that.

The “Haya” card is the only proof of entry for fans into Qatar for the World Cup, which is set to take place between November 20 and December 18. The card offers a number of benefits, the most significant of which is free travel on public transportation, including buses, the metro, trams, and entering various fans.
As of November 1, 19 days prior to the start of the international football competition, no foreigner will be permitted to enter Qatari territory without this card.

Until the tournament’s conclusion on December 18, Qatar anticipates receiving more than a million tourists, and thousands of match tickets have already been sold to locals and citizens.
Qatar improves its airport and land border port infrastructure in order to handle the influx of this many guests.
Officials stated that 150,000 travellers per day were anticipated at Doha International Airport.

The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced yesterday, Sunday, that arriving fans through the Abu Samra port, which is the only land crossing with Saudi Arabia, should leave their cars at the border and take buses to Doha for free or pay five thousand Qatari riyals (about 1375 dollars) to drive their cars in Diameter.
The ministry acknowledged that the crossing is capable of handling more than 4,000 people each hour.
