The Group of Twenty’s statement is issued 3 days after its date amid the division on the war

According to a statement released by the G20 three days after the regular meeting amid tensions over the Russian attack and its global repercussions, finance ministers and central bank governors of the world’s largest economies have expressed a wide range of opinions and views on Russia’s war in Ukraine.

According to the Group of the Twenty, which was released today, Sunday, by Indonesia, the group’s leader this year, “Several members strongly condemned Russia’s war against Ukraine and expressed an opinion that Russia’s illegal and unjustified aggressive war against Ukraine weakens the global economic recovery.” Sunday, according to the Bloomberg News Agency.
The G20 summit in Washington, which ended on Thursday, served as the foundation for the declaration.

Such a document is usually issued within hours of the session, but last week the finance ministers clashed on a variety of issues, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The sanctions imposed on Russia, according to a handful of these members, do not target food.

According to the report, one G20 member claimed that both the war in Ukraine and the sanctions had an impact on the world economy. It continued, “One of the G20 members claimed that the sanctions are the main reason of the bad consequences of the global economy.”

Amidst the disagreement over the conflict, the Group of Twenty releases its statement three days later than scheduled.
