The English Premier League clubs propose to hold a friendly championship in America before the 2024 season

Before starting the new season in 2023–2024, the English Premier League clubs intend to play a preseason friendly tournament in the United States of America.
The English Premier League clubs are reportedly considering organising a friendly tournament as part of the training camp before the start of the new season in 2022–2023, according to the British daily “The Atlantic.”

The friendly preliminary championship, which will feature six clubs split into two groups and played in various east and west American cities, was also mentioned in the publication.
Although the tournament’s specifics were now finalised, she pointed out that the other 14 clubs were enthusiastic about joining this initiative.

Due to the lack of international competitions next summer, it is anticipated that the majority of English Premier League players will compete in the friendly preliminary championship, which will generate significant financial gains by luring advertisers and selling broadcasting contracts at high prices.

Before the 2024 season, the English Premier League clubs want to hold a friendly competition there.
