The American directive to restructure the government was issued by Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, on Sunday. According to the Government Communication Center, the reorganisation of the administration of Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah included the appointment of Barak Ali Barak Al-Shitan as a deputy and minister of state for cabinet affairs and Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as senior deputy prime minister and minister of the interior.
The appointment of Badr Al-Mulla as the nation’s new deputy prime minister and minister of oil was confirmed by the Kuwaiti Government Communication Center.
He added that the Emiri decree of the formation of the government also included the appointment of Abdel -Wahab Al -Rashid, Minister of Finance, Salem Al -Sabah, Foreign Minister, and Abdullah Al -Salem, Minister of Defense.
Due to the absence of the government, Kuwaiti media today reported that the Kuwaiti National Assembly’s first session had begun.
It was officially announced the date of the seventeenth legislative semester session in Kuwait, according to what was stipulated in the delay in the meeting of the National Assembly.
The National Assembly meeting was postponed in recent days, which sparked a controversy.
