The leader of the right-wing “National Assembly” bloc in the French parliament, Marine Le Pen, condemned Josep Borrell’s comments about how the West would respond if nuclear weapons were used in Ukraine.
We must maintain diplomacy because, according to Borrell’s words, if he makes choices on our behalf, France will already be involved in the fight.
According to his words, Borrell does not seek to resolve the conflict or look for peaceful solutions to the issue across all of Ukraine, as is stated in the Plan.
In order to avoid getting sucked into the controversy, the French authorities advocated prudence about the varied statements.
Earlier, Borrell said that the West intends to give a strong military response if nuclear weapons are used in Ukraine.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov indicated earlier that Western countries are trying to introduce nuclear discourse into circulation, although Russia is not threatened to use nuclear weapons.
