Iraqi and Palestinian Minister of Labor discusses ways to exchange experiences and enhance bilateral cooperation

Judge Salar Abdul Sattar, the minister of labour and social affairs for Iraq, met with Nasri Abujish, the labour minister for Palestine, and a delegation led by Fayez Al-Mutairi, the director general of the Arab Labor Organization, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and share social affairs experiences, particularly in the area of occupational health and safety.

According to the Iraqi National News Agency, this occurred during the 97th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization, which was held in Baghdad today, Monday (conscious).
The Director General of the Labor Organization, Fayez Al-Mutairi, has worked hard to get the Labor Organization’s work back on par with that of international organisations. The Minister of Labor of Iraq applauded his efforts and wished him continued success as he contributes to labour and workers’ rights issues in the Arab world.

The Arab Labor Organization’s team was asked by the Palestinian Minister of Labor to attend its upcoming board meeting in the State of Palestine.
