Germany announces sending more air defense systems to Ukraine

German Foreign Minister Analina Perbuk stated that more military aid, including air defence, was being sent to Ukraine.
According to Perpuk, the German tank supply is no longer as crucial as the help for the Ukrainian air defence.
This comes days after Ukrainian Defense Minister Olexi Residence announced that Ukraine received the first anti -aircraft defense system from Germany.
In Ukraine, “a new era for air defence dawned.”

Germany announced that it had accelerated the arrival of air defence systems capable of protecting an entire city, as it had promised to Ukraine after the intense Russian missile strikes that were directed at that country. This announcement accelerated events on the ground in Ukraine and was a confirmation by Europe of its continued support with weapons and equipment.

While German Chancellor Olaf Schultz promised in June to introduce cutting-edge devices like “IRIS-T,” which he said could shield a sizable city from aerial attacks.
A 40 km wide by 20 km long protective barrier is offered by the Aires-T system.
The German army has the “Aires-T” missiles in its warehouses, but not a complete surface-to-air missile system. It is fired off by missiles from fighter aircraft called “Tornado” or “Eurofighter.”

Despite Vladimir Putin’s warnings about a retaliatory strike should Kiev invade the Ukrainian territories that Russia occupied, especially Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaburiya, and Khairsson, the Ukrainian army have received new reinforcement.

More air defence systems will be sent to Ukraine, according to Germany.
