Chefiontek scores its eighth titles in the season by winning the San Diego Championship

Aegea Chefiontek of Poland, the top seed in the world, defeated Croatia’s Donna Vikic on Sunday evening in the San Diego Tennis Championship final to win her eighth professional championship of the year.
Chefiontek raised the number of its victories to 24 against one defeat in the matches she played in the United States this season, after settling its match against Vikic by winning 6/3, 3/6 and 6 / zero within one hour and 47 minutes.

With victories at the American Open (Flashing Midoz), Indian Wales, and Miami this season, Chefiontek was crowned.
The 64th victory this season for Shafiontek came yesterday, giving her the second-highest total behind Serena Williams’ 78 triumphs in 2013.
Chefiontek was aware that the task would not be easy for Vikic, who toppled Maria Skari, Carolina Plisova, Arena Sabalinka, as well as Daniel Collins.

Following a lengthy weather delay, Vikic finished its semi-final match against Collins earlier on Sunday. The match was ultimately won by Vikic by scores of 6/4, 4/6, and 7/6 (7/2).
Vikic won the second group, but Chefiontek asserted her superiority to win the championship.

By winning the San Diego Championship, Chefiontek wins its eighth championship of the year.
