Algerian President: accelerating the installation of commercial courts to improve the business and investment climate

In order to improve the economic environment and strengthen the assurances provided by the new investment law, Algerian President Abdel-Majid contacted Taboun his government and requested that the commercial courts be opened as soon as possible.
This was said by him during his statement at the start of the new judicial year 2022–2023, which took place today, Sunday, at the Algiers offices of the Algerian Supreme Court.

Taboun expressed his aspiration, in this new judicial year, to accelerate the pace of judicial work; In a way that responds to the economic and social reality, stressing his keenness to enhance the independence of the judiciary in order to maintain law and equality in rights and duties.
The president of Algeria emphasised the necessity of stepping up efforts to modify the legal system to reflect changes.
