A session open to the public on popular proverbs in the Senari House .. Wednesday

The House of Sinari will have an open discussion for the general public on Wednesday, October 19, at six intervals, at the administrative centre of the archaeological house of Mrs. Zainab, with the theme: “The Origin of Popular Proverbs… Anecdotes of Juha,” to narrate Nesma Medhat.

The session focuses on popular proverbs and sayings related to Juha’s anecdotes by illuminating his persona and his approach to handling life’s challenges in a sarcastic and straightforward manner. Juha’s actions had a significant influence on many cultures and led to the creation of numerous proverbs and judgments that were passed down through the generations to become a folkloric symbol.

Nasma Medhat, who is the owner of the effort to revive folklore as well as a director, author, and blogger of the blogs “They say” and “City told me,” is in charge of the session.

Nesma earned her degree in information studies from Cairo University in 2007. She published her first book, “The Name Aa,” in 2020 and released her second book, “The Origin of the Example” in 2022. Nesma has also hosted a number of radio and television programmes.

Because narration plays such an important role in fostering human communication, this session fits within the larger context of interest in promoting awareness and culture. It introduces the significance, status, and history of narration. By using narration, we can bring back folklore, express consciousness, transmit experiences and knowledge, and give things colour, shape, and significance.
