Al-Madinah News:-The NATO nuclear deterrence drills began today, Monday, and will go until October 30. Up to 60 military aircraft from 14 nations are expected to participate.
This comes as the NATO involvement in the situation in Ukraine was confirmed by the Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, who also noted that this had no bearing on the final outcomes of the Russian special procedure.
NATO announced that the exercises will take place “over northwestern Europe,” in the airspace of Belgium and Britain, as well as over the North Sea, and that they would not involve the use of combat weapons.
According to Belgian media, the Royal Air Force’s “Klein Bruges” installation in the province of Limburg would serve as the training hub.
The Belgian alliance against nuclear weapons claims that there are American nuclear warheads there, although the official authorities dispute this assertion.
