In Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey, a large fire broke out on Saturday evening and nearly consumed a 24-story residential tower. Early adopters of online communication sites circulated terrifying images of the fire’s tongues in the “Vicertebe” neighbourhood in the “Kadikoy” area on the Asian side of Istanbul.
According to what we see in the video below, the fire quickly spread from the hotel’s lower to upper floors before spreading to other floors and eventually engulfing the entire structure.
And dozens of firefighters were accepted to work to put out the fire, according to what the firefighting department in Istanbul wrote on Twitter, adding later that its men managed to evacuate everyone in the building and put out the fire without any loss of life.
Regarding the cause of the fire’s eruption, the mayor of Istanbul revealed to Akram in front of Oglua that it is now unknown and that investigators have started their work.
