The President of the North Korean leader: The international situation is changing quickly and cooperation should be strengthened between our two countries

In a letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasised the importance of deepening relations between Beijing and Pyongyang.
The Korean Central News Agency published the message in conjunction with the opening day of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party, noting that Beijing sent it on October 13.

“The abrupt and complex changes in the world and regional circumstances now emphasise the significance of enhancing strategic communication and enhancing unity and cooperation in the region,” President Xi wrote in the letter.


He added: “In light of the new situation, I will make with Comrade Secretary -General active efforts to advance the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Democratic Korea to progress and develop over time, give more happiness to both countries and the people of the two countries, and bring peace in the region and the world. ”
The Chinese president stated in the letter that he is ready to make a greater contribution for protection and stability.

Regarding the relations between North Korea and China, Xi Jinping said, “China and North Korea are two friends who have mountains and rivers,” noting that the traditional friendship between the two countries is increasing with the passage of years.
The 20th Chinese Communist Party conference will usher in a new era of socialist social characteristics, the Chinese president said in his speech, adding that it is a fresh voyage to sculpt new chapters.
