Putin decides to relinquish Russian anti -US sanctions measures

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, signed a presidential decree on waiver of extraordinary economic measures today, on Saturday, against nations and organisations that were deemed to be out of balance for Russia.
The United States and other hostile nations and organisations that joined it in imposing economic sanctions against Russia, according to the Russian news agency “TASS,” prompted Moscow to take extraordinary economic measures, according to the agency’s website.

A number of foreign funds and development banks, including the new development bank of the “Brix” group, the Asian Bank for Infrastructure Investment, the International Bank for Economic Cooperation, the International Investment Bank, and the Russian Development Fund-Kyrgyz, were also exempt from the special economic measures, according to the Russian presidential decree.

Because of the Russian military action in Ukraine, which began on February 24, the United States of America, some European Union nations, and international financial and economic institutions imposed economic sanctions against Russia. In response, Russia responded by taking counter-measures.
