Musk is back away from his illumination by stopping the space internet service for Ukraine

News from Al-Madinah: Elon Musk, a billionaire and the founder of “SpaceX,” declared that his organisation would keep supplying Ukraine with Internet services via “Starlink” satellites.
During a tweet on his Twitter account, the billionaire Musk said he will keep on offering services even if his company suffers serious losses.

Although Starlink continues to lose money, the world’s richest man stated that his company will continue to operate in Ukraine and provide internet service via satellite, without making any mention of his demand that the US Congress be informed of the costs of the service his company provided to Ukraine over the previous months.
This declaration runs counter to earlier statements that it would quit offering Ukraine Internet access via the “Starlink” service, as reported by “Sky News.”

In particular, given the ongoing Russian military activity in Ukraine, it is significant that the “Starlink” service, which offers space internet through a network of around 3,000 artificial satellites installed in low orbit, is a highly important issue for the Ukrainian network.

In a series of tweets on Friday, Musk had explained the logistical services of the process that cost “SpaceX” about 20 million dollars per month, indicating that the company cannot finance it indefinitely, according to AFP.
At first, a mask explained his actions by stating that his company had suffered tens of millions of dollars in damages in Ukraine.

These declarations followed the White House’s announcement that it was looking at further options to ensure that all regions of Ukraine would continue to have access to communication and the Internet as long as the Russian military operation in that country was in effect.

Elon Musk, who has avoided politics his entire life, shocked observers a few months ago when he proposed a peace plan between Russia and Ukraine, in which he saw that Russia has the right to keep the Crimea almost in exchange for ending its current war, in addition to holding new elections within the regions recently annexed by Moscow under the supervision of the UN.

After his suggestions to ensure the acknowledgment of Russian sovereignty over the Crimea enraged them, Musk found himself embroiled in disagreements with the Ukrainian leaders, particularly President Voludmir Zellinski.
The shifting positions of the risk that persistently stares at some of the fundamental services that the West claims will still be provided to Ukraine, including Internet access through satellite, when the terrestrial communication hubs are in Russian weapons’ sights.

The Pentagon has acknowledged that it is in contact with the Musk Organization about funding for the Ukrainian Internet.

By halting the space internet service for Ukraine, Musk retreats from his illumination.
