According to press sources published this morning, Liverpool of England has started talks with Dutchman Frenke de Jong of Barcelona in order to bolster its roster ahead of the approaching winter transfer window.
It was claimed that Manchester United, who attempted to enter into negotiations with de Jong during the summer transfer window but was unsuccessful in doing so, is also a club that is interested in signing de Jong. This indicates that Liverpool is not the only team that wants to sign de Jong.
Juergen Klopp wanted to sign Di Young, the insider continued, in order to revamp the team’s midfield.
