News from Al-Madinah: The 31st Jordan International Open Championship, which begins on the Ayla Oasis stadiums in Aqaba on Thursday, has been completed by the Golf Federation.
More than 50 players from 16 Arab and international nations—Iraq, Sudan, Sudan, Bulgaria, Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Slovenia, Sweden, Morocco, Serbia, Bahrain, Cyprus, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, and Canada—are taking part in the competition.

In the championship, Jordan is represented by ten athletes: in the junior division, Hamza Salman, Muhammad Al-Rawashdeh, Salem Al-Abdullalat, Yasmine Zahir, Daniel Zahir, Ryan Hassan, Abdul Rahman Al-Zahir, and Adam Tahan; in the men’s division, Issam Jabji and Joseph Fadi.
Amer Radi, an Iraqi who coaches the national team, emphasised the players’ readiness to compete in the competition in search of success.

In a statement to the media today, he said: “The players are in good spirits, especially following the historic success of the two stars, Mohamed Al-Rawashdeh and Salem Al-Abdullalat, which is symbolised by winning the Arab Junior Championship that just completed in Tunisia’s under-13 age group.”

The opportunity will be appropriate for all players to begin competition, especially given that the event is amateur according to international standards and helps participants earn more points.

In light of the excellent cooperation provided by the management of the Ayla Golf Club, which mocked all its technical and logistical capabilities, the Supreme Organizing Committee, made up of Shadi Jabji, Majd, Ajda, and Amer Radi, seeks to set a precise scenario in order to receive the championship. This is done in order to make the tournament a success and its ideal in the ideal way that reflects the prestigious position that The Game reached it.

“The arrangements for the championship will start from the moment the first delegations arrive in the Jordanian lands and will end with the departure of the last guests,” says Shadi Jabji, Secretary of the Golf Federation and member of the Supreme Organizing Committee, while simultaneously praising the element of extreme accuracy in organisation and mobility and securing the establishment of delegations.

Nidal Al-Majali, President of the Golf Federation, stated that the competition is a great way to promote Jordanian travel, noting that the delegation housing programme includes a supper in the gorgeous Wadi Rum region in addition to visiting the beaches of the popular city of Aqaba.
