12 dead in shooting targeted a restaurant in the center of Mexico

According to the local administration, 12 people were killed on Saturday in a shooting that targeted a bar in the city of Ebbato, Guanakhouato, in central Mexico. The area has recently been one of the most dangerous in the nation due to the expansion of drug gangs in the area.
In a statement that didn’t mention the attacker’s identify or intentions, the authorities acknowledged “the killing of six men and six women” and the injuries of three individuals.

The dispute between the two organisations, “Santa Rosa de Lima” and “Khalisco New Generation,” known for drug trafficking, fuel theft, and other crimes, has moved to the Guanguato Industrial State.
The armed group entered the pub in the city of Airbawato on Saturday, according to the police, and started shooting at patrons and staff. The victim’s body was discovered outside, close to a motorcycle, according to the police, while the other victims were discovered inside the bar.

The local administration has reported that the state police, army, attorney general’s office, and national guard are searching for the attackers. The incident is the state’s second significant shooting incident in less than a month. Ten persons were slain at a billiards room in the state of Tarimoro in September.
