Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski announced that he thanked the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in a telephone conversation on Friday, for supporting the Ukrainian territory during the United Nations General Assembly.
He said, “I committed to communicate with the Saudi crown prince on the release of the Ukrainian military prisoners.
It is noteworthy that the mediation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Russian -Ukrainian crisis led to Russia’s release from 10 prisoners from Morocco, America, Britain, Sweden and Croatia, at the end of last September.
The mediation of the Saudi Crown Prince resulted in the release of 10 inmates in Russia from 5 different countries. This was widely praised internationally, and many important nations thanked the crown prince for his efforts.
The success of the prisoner swap arrangement was credited to the Crown Prince’s mediation, which was praised by the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Croatia, and the Arab and Gulf states.
I appreciate the Saudi Crown Prince’s support for the union of our nations, said Zellinski.
