The outcome of the “Russian Energy Week” forum .. 30 agreements and a memorandum of understanding

30 agreements and a memorandum of understanding were reached between Russian and foreign businesses as part of the “Russian Energy Week” forum’s events, which took place this week in Moscow.

The work of the economic event, which is held annually and attracted hundreds of specialists and representatives of energy firms, is summarised in the following results:
⁃ Within the context of the forum’s activities, more than 70 events were organised with the participation of more than 270 speakers. The event witnessed the participation of about 3000 participants and media representatives from Russia and 83 countries and a foreign region.

Representatives from nations and areas like Yemen, Cayman, Nicaragua, Rwanda, and Chad joined the event for the first time.
– Russian and foreign businesses have signed 30 agreements and memoranda.
The forum was attended by 15 ministers from these countries: Azerbaijan, Algeria, Hungary, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Mali, Myanmar, the Emirates, Syria, Turkey and Sri Lanka. ⁃ The main event of the forum was the plenary session entitled: “New Challenges – New opportunities.

What obstacles does the global oil and gas market face?, asked Russian President Vladimir Putin in a speech during which he discussed these issues.
