Carlito Benito, 68, was given two years of home arrest by a judge.
In addition, the former Progressive Conservative MLA must pay a $75,000 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
The 28-year-old Charles Benito received a sentence of 100 hours of community service and nine months of house arrest.
