Today, on Friday, the US State Department stated that the US and Saudi Arabia share a number of interests.
In response to a question to the Arab/Al -Hadath correspondent, a ministry spokesman explained that there are security and vital interests between America and Saudi Arabia, noting that relations with the Kingdom are multi -faceted.
He also said that security relations with Saudi Arabia are an important factor for the stability of the region, pointing out that there are 70,000 American citizens living in the Kingdom.
Washington and Saudi Arabia share similar security interests, he continued, so we take care not to harm them.
