On Wednesday, North Korea reported the launch of a long-range cruise missile, the most recent in a series of missile tests Pyongyang has conducted to evaluate its nuclear tactical capabilities.
According to the official North Korean News Agency, Kim Jong-un, the country’s leader, expressed his “great delight” with the experience, which he personally oversaw from the location of the two rockets and said had spread over the sea for 2,000 kilometres.
According to the official Central News Agency, North Korea launched two furious cruise missiles on Wednesday for “10,234 seconds along the 8-year-old oval orbits in the sky over the western sea of Korea, and hit the target clearly 2,000 miles” (KCNA).
According to the Korean Central News Agency, the launch operations were carried out to increase the “combat efficiency and the capacity” of the missiles deployed in the Korean SPLM units to operate tactical nuclear bombs and to reaffirm the dependability of the comprehensive operating application system.
The agency said that Kim expressed his satisfaction with “the high reaction capabilities of our nuclear combat forces, which once again proved her full preparation for the actual war to put enemies under their control with an unconditional, mobile, accurate and powerful counter -strike by any weapon system. ”
He emphasised that the shooting incident serves as yet another stark message to the adversaries.
