According to Abdulaziz Al-Sayed, the chairman of the poultry wealth division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, the price of eggs in the local market steadied at 70 and 75 pounds for the dish on the farm.
The wholesale cost of an egg carton today was 70 pounds for a white dish and 75 pounds for a red dish.
Currently, white eggs cost 75 pounds each serving.
Today, red eggs cost an average of 80 pounds each serving.
