The capital hosts the Amman International Marathon on Friday

News from Al-Madinah: The 42 km, 21 km, and 10 km races are all part of the Amman International Marathon, which will begin on Friday with “broad” participation from both domestic and foreign runners.
The Amman International Marathon is being hosted as a national event that welcomes participation from people of all ages, according to the Jordanian Marathon Association.
The marathon includes a race for people with special needs and motor and visual challenges.

The Jordanian Marathon Association declared that all preparations for the traffic plan for road closures and traffic transfers for the marathon have been completed. The organisation would assist the traffic management cadres in implementing the alternate routes assigned during race activities.

The half-marathon and full marathon races start at six on Friday morning in front of the finish line at Hashemite Square, with signals pointing first towards Quraysh Street, then to the end of Ali bin Abi Talib Street, passing through the signals of the issuance, and finally toward Omar Matar Street, passing through the Amman Municipality from the main gate to King Talal Street.

Following King Talal Street, the runner travels past the Al-Husseini Mosque, Al-Hashemi Street, Al-Jaish Street, and the new Raghadan complex before turning around the central island of the new Raghadan complex and returning to King Talal Street from the front of the Roman runway.
The participants in the marathon (individually) race repeat the preceding course four times, and at the conclusion of the fourth wrapping, they enter the finish area at Hashemite Square.

The marathon competitors (a group of four people) follow this route four times, and at the conclusion of each roll, the competitor gives the team banner to the other competitor who is on his team in the receiving and delivering area, which is located 30 metres before the starting line. After the fourth loop, the competitor enters the finish area in the Hashemite Square.

Half of the participants in the marathon retrace their steps again, and at the conclusion of the second loop, they enter the finish line area in Hashemite Square.
The group claimed that at all times, the racing track moves in contrast to the walk.
Closure
The 42 km (individual/sequence) and 21 km (race) courses will be blocked; they will go from Abi Talib to the migrant signals, then down Omar Matar Street, King Talal Street, and Al-Hashemi Street.

The race track will be completely closed between Queen Alia Street between the Sports City Roundabout and the Interior Ministry Roundabout, as well as between Queen Nour Street and the Interior Ministry Roundabout, between the Interior Ministry Roundabout and the fourth roundabout, for the 10 kilometre race, which begins at nine in the morning.

Prior to reaching the Hashemite Square region, Aqaba Bin Nafi Street, Princess Basma Street, Ali bin Abi Talib Street, and Quraish Street will be entirely closed.

The Amman International Marathon takes place in the city on Friday.
