The Arab Parliament confirms its rejection of the statements issued against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The accusations made against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the announcement of the “OPEC +” decision to partially limit oil output in the group’s member states were categorically rejected and condemned by the Arab Parliament.

The President of the Arab Parliament, Abdul Rahman Al -Asoumi, stressed – in a statement today, Friday, the solidarity of the full Arab parliament with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for its clear position it reported in a statement to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which confirmed that these decisions are taken through collective consensus between the member states of “OPEC +” Additionally, no country is an island apart from the other member states, and the global oil market’s supply and demand dynamics are heavily considered when making these decisions.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, were praised by the President of the Arab Parliament for the significant and pivotal role they have played at all Arab, regional, and international levels. He also praised the Kingdom for the steps it has taken to safeguard the global economy from fluctuations in energy prices and its balanced approach to achieving its goals.
