Saudi Arabia: We reject America’s dictates and statements are not based on facts

News from Al Madinah: In a statement released today, Thursday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “the Kingdom rejects to see OPEC+ decision as a bias in international issues.”
She stressed in a statement that “OPEC’s decision+ was taken unanimously and from an economic perspective that takes into account the balance of supply and demand in the markets and limits fluctuations.

“No political agenda”
She also utterly rejected any claims made about her partiality in regards to international issues. The Kingdom “refuses to consider the OPEC+ decision based on political objectives against America,” according to the Foreign Ministry.
She continued by saying she completely disagreed with the claims made against the Kingdom following the Oct. 5 verdict.

Additionally, it stated that it completely disagreed with all of the American assertions and pointed out that doing so would require attempting to view OPEC’s decision outside of its strictly economic context.
detrimental effects
She noted that “the Kingdom made it plain that the deferral of the decision to restrict output is a month, according to what was recommended, will have significant economic effects during its engagement with the American government.

Additionally, she stated that “OPEC Plus meetings are adopted through collective agreement from member states and there is no single state without the other member states. From a purely economic perspective that considers the balance of supply and demand in the petroleum markets and limits the fluctuations that do not serve the interests of producers and consumers alike, this is what the OPEC Plus group has always been.

As is common for independent practises of international organisations, the OPEC Plus group makes its decisions on its own.

She also thought that “an attempt to obliterate the facts regarding the Kingdom’s position on the Ukrainian crisis is unfortunate and will not change its initial location and their correction of the decisions taken in the UN towards the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, based on the Kingdom’s adherence to the necessity of all countries to commit to the UN Charter and the principles and rejection of international law Any prejudice to the sovereign

Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi Arabian minister of state for foreign affairs, has also stated earlier that the European Union would not benefit from the escalation in Ukraine. In statements to “CNN,” he also said that Saudi Arabia kept open lines of communication with Russia and Ukraine, emphasising that there are strategies to encourage negotiations between the two sides.
He added that if the monarchy had not maintained its neutrality, the prisoner swap agreement between Russia and Ukraine would not have been implemented.

He clarified that Saudi Arabia does not politicise oil, which is not a weapon but rather a commodity intended to promote stability, in relation to the decision to lower oil production.
These declarations followed criticism from the United States in recent days of the OPEC+ decision to reduce output on the fifth of this month, given that it affected Russia.
