Putin proposes the establishment of a major gas center in Turkey for export to Europe

Erdogan in Kazakhstan: “We can look into the prospect of setting up a gas hub on Turkish soil to export to other nations.”
Putin noted that Russia’s natural gas shipments to Turkey are completely operational. He claimed that Ankara had shown to be the most dependable partner for supplying the European Union with gas.
“We are ready to form a large gas center in Turkey and distribute it to other countries,” Putin said.

“We agreed with Gazprom to develop a new system to deliver gas to Europe via Turkey,” he said, adding that “The Turkish torrent,” a pipeline that carries gas from Russia to Turkey, is still operational despite attempts to blow it up.

Putin suggests building a significant gas hub in Turkey for export to Europe.
