Japan’s bank lending growth rate by 2.3% during last September

According to the Central Bank of Japan’s data released today, Thursday, the amount of bank lending in Japan increased by 2. 3% yearly in September to reach 590,536 trillion yen (4. 2 trillion dollars), up from 1.9% in August according to the final figures.
Bank lending climbed last month by 2.6% yearly, excluding lending from savings funds, to reach 513 trillion yen, while lending from savings funds increased by 0.5% to reach 76.55 trillion yen.

The loans provided by the branches of foreign banks operating in Japan over the past month increased by 2. 7% to 3. 334 trillion yen.
During the third quarter of this year, overall bank lending in Japan climbed by 2% yearly.

Japan’s bank lending increased by 2.3% in September of last year.
