In an odd episode, the German Federal Prosecutor revealed today, Thursday, that police had detained a woman who was allegedly involved in an earlier attempt to kidnap Health Minister Carl Luttphek.
In the specifics, the prosecutors said that the German woman went by the name Elizabeth R.
Just is thought to be the head of an extremist organisation that planned to kidnap Lotrapach and destroy electrical plants in order to disrupt service across the board for the entire nation.
They added that she was involved in managing the plot in favor of the extremist group, and she bought weapons and explosives and recruited people who adopt the same thought.
They further disclosed that this group planned to eventually overthrow the federal government and parliamentary democracy with the aim of fostering conditions akin to the German civil war.
Elizabeth R. is set to appear before a federal judge later today, Thursday, to determine whether she will be kept in detention or not, according to the prosecution.
It is noteworthy that the police announced after the failed kidnapping attempt in April, 4 others said that they belonged to groups that opposed the restrictions imposed to combat the Kofid-19 and affiliated with the movement (Rijsbarger) from the extreme right, which denies the existence of the modern German state.
