How much does the population of Egypt increase annually and will food be enough in the future?

The dilemma of the population growth has confirmed that the future is worrying, according to Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Health and Population, Tariq Tawfiq.
According to him, Egypt’s population is growing by an average of 1 million 700 000 people a year, and if this trend continues, we will reach at least 2030 million people and almost 160 million people in 2050.

Tariq Tawfiq added, in television statements, that the huge numbers of newborns will be pressing for the country’s facilities, the most important of which is health and education, continuing: “The more unprofitable population increases, the more randomness increases, and this is a threat to the peace of society, the nature of the slums and the population in it. ”
“Maybe we will reach 160 million people in 2050,” he posed.

Will this amount of food be sufficient? I do not believe that water, along with climatic changes, also effect agricultural products.
