The social media network “Truth Social” for former US President Donald Trump has been approved by “Google” to be made available on its “Play Shop” store.
The “Economic Times” newspaper said that Google allowed “Truth Suchs” to its store, after the platform announced its commitment to Google’s policies related to removing inappropriate content such as “incitement to violence.
For its part, Google claimed that it had informed “Truth Suchs” on August 19 that their application violated the Play Store’s rules, citing the need for efficient controls over the user-generated content.
It is noteworthy that the “Truth Soshal” application has become available for downloading on electronic application stores late on the evening of February 21, as the application was also automatically downloaded for Apple users who previously requested the application before the expected launch.
In the wake of his supporters’ assault on the US Congress, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube blocked this application on January 6, 2021, more than a year after it had previously accused Trump of disseminating statements that incited violence.
Google makes available on the Play Store the Trump social networking platform.
