For the second week in a row, gas prices in New Brunswick increased by 8.7 cents on Thursday.
For ordinary self-serve gasoline, New Brunswickers are currently paying a maximum of $1. 76 per litre.
This comes after prices had increased last Thursday, rising to $1. 67 per litre from $1. 62.
Diesel prices have also increased.
At the pump, ultra-low sulphur fuel now costs up to $2. 51 a litre, up 14. 2 cents from the previous day.
Because of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, gas prices continue to fluctuate all over the world.
New Brunswick’s gas prices rise by approximately 9 cents, while diesel prices rise by 14 cents.
