Former Liverpool star Enrique: Nunez caused Salah’s level at the beginning of the season

the previous Liverpool According to Jose Enrique, the contract with Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez is the primary cause of Mohamed Salah’s difficulties in signing with Liverpool at the start of this season, particularly in the Premier League.
Salah has scored the majority of Liverpool’s goals over the past several seasons, and he has also won numerous prestigious honours and the English Premier League’s top scorer award three times.

Salah Al-Tadifi, however, struggled this season, scoring just two goals in ten games in the English Premier League, before going off in the final Champions League game against Rangers, scoring a hat-trick.
Salah is not to blame, in Enrique’s opinion, for his serious decline. Rather, he believes that the Egyptian shine in the previous playing style with Sadio Mane, who allowed the wings to focus on the opponent’s defense.

Enrique made the following comments, which were published in the newspaper “Daily Star”: “Mohamed Salah can definitely use the trio he recently recorded to return to his best. In my opinion, the wing was a truly attacker, close to the heart of the defence, and Salah played yesterday as a striker. However, now that Darwin Nunez has joined the team, it has changed a little, as he is the person who will take the place in the spaces and have more open wings.

He added: “I am not sure of Salah’s brilliance against City, it will be fun, because when he plays this central role, he makes a difference, score goals, but it is definitely a big step, and Salah must play a central role, not as much as he plays now.

“After Sadio Mane departed to Bayern Munich and Darwin Nunez later arrived from Benfica for 85 million pounds this summer, the coach Jurgen Klopp’s method changed, and Enrique believes that the German coach adjusted the Reds style on the new deal Nunez.
Salah struggled to score, and the former Chelsea player returned to his 3-1 in Liverpool’s 7-1 triumph over Rangers in the Champions League, where he entered and played as a striker, unlike Louis Diaz, who was a star in the new Club strategy.

Enrique, a former Liverpool player, claims that Nunez set Salah’s level early in the season.
