Britain intends to provide Ukraine with anti -aircraft missiles

On Thursday, the British Ministry of Defense stated that it will give Ukraine more anti-aircraft weapons, including for the first time, ammunition that could launch cruise missiles.
The ministry said in a statement that it would provide Kyiv “in the coming weeks” “Aramad” missiles to be used by the NASSSAS air defense system, which the United States has pledged to provide Ukraine.

On Wednesday, the United Nations General Assembly voted, with a large majority draft resolution condemning Russia’s “illegal”, Ukrainian regions after Moscow used the right to veto a similar draft resolution in the UN Security Council.
Despite the excellent American diplomatic efforts, the General Assembly supported the decision with 143 votes in favour and 5 votes against. 35 countries, including China, India, South Africa, and Pakistan, did not participate in the voting process.

The decision condemns “the Russian Federation Organization is an alleged referendum within the internationally recognized Ukraine borders” and “the illegal annexation attempt” announced by President Vladimir Putin last month to four Ukrainian regions.
Moscow requests “prompt and unconditional decline” for its choices, and the decree instructs all UN agencies and other international organisations to reject any border adjustments it announces.

The UK wants to give Ukraine anti-aircraft missiles.
