Inflation will worsen, according to US President Joe Biden, if the Republicans win the next midterm elections for the US Congress.
Democrats are supporting workers, he continued, according to remarks he made in Los Angeles and quoted by the American newspaper “The Hill.”
The voters must decide whether Democrats are striving to lower the cost of the items they are discussing over the kitchen table, including prescription drugs, health insurance, energy costs, and much more. Elections were held a month ago.
His comments followed the release of consumer price index data that indicated a 0.4% infection rate in September and an 8.2% infection rate over the previous twelve months.
Biden stated in a statement earlier today that although the report demonstrates progress, more work remains.
In addition, Biden said that there is more work that has to be done to lower the price of gas and that he will talk more about it next week.
