Although Giannis Antokicontbo wants to strengthen the team’s traditions, he is unconcerned about the meagre results Milwaki Baks has produced during the American Professional Basketball League’s preseason.
In the five games he played during the preparatory period, Baks was victorious just once, falling to the Brooklyn Nets 97/10 on Wednesday. In that game, Antokiconbo scored 24 points and had 14 assists.
Antokiconmbo remarked, “It doesn’t worry me; what troubles me are our behaviours and developing good habits.
“At the moment, our voice isn’t loud enough, we’re not rushing forward quickly enough, and we’re not sufficiently thirsty, but in the end, it’s just a period of preparation for the season, and we have the full usual season to learn more about ourselves.
” “The season will not be easy, I think that sometimes your mind forgets and thinks that things will be easy, but I feel on a personal level that we have to go out and express ourselves and play strongly. ”
“We have to be thirsty, play together, and defend better as a team,” the coach said. He also stressed the need of developing good habits and playing for the team’s sake.
Antokiconbo is unconcerned about Milwaki’s performance slump prior to the commencement of the American basket season.
